Hasselhoff Loses Visitation Rights With His Daughters Due To Shirtless, Drunken Video
The Hoff has officially been hassled. A Los Angeles judge has temporarily suspended David Hasselhoff’s visitation rights with his two teenage daughters. The decision comes only a few days after the release of a video showing the former Baywatch star drunk as a skunk, shirtless, and barely able to eat a hamburger.
Hasselhoff has admitted to being a recovering alcoholic, and his daughter shot the video in an attempt to show Dad how bad he looks when he drinks. According to Hasselhoff, the tape was never meant for the general public, but “got into the hands of individuals who are not worthy of mentioning, who maliciously released the tape for their own self(ish) purpose.”
A hearing on May 21 will determine whether Hasselhoff will be able to see his kids anytime soon.
It’s been a rough few weeks for celebrity dads. Alec Baldwin recently lost visitation rights with his daughter after “someone” leaked an angry voicemail he left on her cell phone. The Internet is feeding this trend of making private lives very public, serving as a fast and efficient tool for circulating bad behavior.
It seems like the only surefire way for celebrities to stay out of trouble these days is to simply not say or do anything… ever. Luckily for us gawkers, that never happens.
