Hillary Clinton In "Sopranos" Spoof
Sales of Journey singles have skyrocketed since The Sopranos finale, and Hillary Clinton seems to have jumped on the bandwagon for both the band and the show, with this new campaign spot:
But it's worse. Much worse. Yes, she's still put herself in the position of Carmela Soprano, but she's ended up with a genuinely terrible campaign song: "You And I" by melismatic Canadian singer and embarrassment to humanity Celine Dion.

What, no real American singers were available? CELINE DION? What kind of crap is that? Damn liberals.

Oh, come on. This was a vote by the political supporters. Apparently it's what people like, and while I don't like it, that doesn't mean Hillary's a bad politician for going with a cheezy pop song. I'm not voting for anyone based on their musical taste or the musical taste of her supporters.
Besides, it's just a campaign song. It's not like she's going to import the rest of the Canadian political process.

I think the idea of having "an official campaign song" is creepy. In the end, like this report suggests, it's all for the sake of getting you to donate money.

If they put this much time and effort into the development of policies and mantras that solve the problems of America, they wouldn't have to waste this much time in the first place.
