"Raising The Bar" With A Twist Of "The Simpsons"

Not that I'm not excited about the return of TV wiz Steven Bochco of "Hill Street Blues" and "NYPD Blue" fame. TNT announced today that it has greenlighted Bochco's new courtroom show, "Raising the Bar." Mark-Paul Gosselaar of "Saved By The Bell" and "Blue" stars as "an idealistic public defender who will stop at nothing to help those who cannot help themselves." Uh huh. Gloria Reuben plays his boss. But what I'm really stoked about here is the first - as far as I know - "The Simpsons"-to-live-action casting crossover. Bochco has cast former "Malcolm in the Middle" mom Jane Kaczmarek as the judge on "Raising the Bar." And as we all know she got her judicial training playing Judge Constance Harm on seven episodes of "The Simpsons." How cool is that?!
