"The Wire," "Women's Murder Club," And More Links

"The Wire" is seeing some bloodshed and disaster. Click through to Cynthia Littleton or Heaven And Here or Tim Goodman for your spoilers and analysis.

On "Breaking Bad," we're getting some really good character development, and raising some serious questions about friends, charity, and the value of hard work and independence.  This is good news for good television. (TV Squad)

On the other hand, "Women's Murder Club" got a renewal, so I guess you could call it a wash. (Ausiello)

Was "American Idol" contestant David Hernandez a stripper? He's got the bod for it... (Vote For The Worst)

Preliminary results from last night suggest that last night's Oscars broadcast didn't do as well as usual, but that it still gave ABC the edge for the night. (Zap2It)

If you missed Jon Stewart's opening bit last night, TVGasm has a clip. (TVGasm)

Also, the AV Club has an interview with Amy Ryan ("The Wire") and another one with Summer Glau ("Terminator," my dreams, my nightmares).
