"Housewives" Ruled
Sunday's action-packed "Desperate Housewives" finale on ABC - complete with five-year flash-forward at the end - topped the night's ratings. The only problem was that it drew two million fewer viewers than last year's finale, says the Times. But in this strike-warped season, that's not surprising, as many shows are down 10 to 20 percent year-to-year. More important is the way the flash-forward set up the action for next season. Bree is back with Orson - and she's a big-time cookbook author, more icy Martha Stewart than giddy Rachael Ray of course. Lynette's troubled twins have turned into teen terrors. Gabrielle's a mess. Susan isn't with Mike. And Katherine is still around. I'd say there's plenty to look forward to.

seriously! let's see some grade curves taken into account here....
