"In Plain Sight" Does Well For USA
Well, knock me over with a feather. Viewers disagreed with the critics. That never happens.
I didn't much like the pilot episode of USA's "In Plain Sight," which aired Sunday night. Star Mary McCormack was pretty much wasted in a badly written, cliched cop plot. But 5.25 million people watched, the network's best debut since "The 4400" back in 2004, and significantly better than last year's bow of "Burn Notice." Duly noted, though, is the fact that next weekend the witness-protection drama will be up against the season premiere of Lifetime's popular "Army Wives."
